Research and study

Research and study give an important support to the professionalisation of design. They lay a scientific foundation and give direction to the policies of the government. Design Flanders therefore examines the different aspects of design, in an economical as well as in a broader context.

During the International Research Meetings, Design Flanders, as a centre of knowledge, tries, together with its partners, to tune all the national and regional studies and to make them comparable. You can find the links to the studies made in the different countries here. Because of the continuous evolution in the field, new studies will regularly be added tot the inventory.
