Subsidies

Design Flanders wishes to support a wide range of projects that stimulate contemporary design in Flanders through subsidies. Designers who are recognised by Design Flanders, as well as organisations that plan projects together with those designers, can apply for a subsidy.
In order to make applying for a subsidy as efficient as possible, we would like to point out the following:

o Submit your application in good time. In this manner, there is still sufficient time to make any adjustments necessary in order to submit a thorough dossier to the Expertgroep. Dossiers submitted after the deadline will not be processed.

o An overview of all the dates:

• For applications that are to be realised in the period January - March 2011, the final deadline for the application is 4 October 2010.
• For applications which are to be realised in the period April - July 2011, the final deadline for the application is 31 January 2011.
• For applications which are to be realised in the period August - December 2010, the final deadline for the application is 30 May 2011.

o Henceforth, the copies of invoices related to the project as well as the copies of the bank statements as proof of payment must be sent to Design Flanders at the latest within two months after the end of the project.

o For printed material and online promotions we request that correct use is made of the logos. For online promotions, the Design Flanders logo must link to the website.
A claim form will henceforth be requested per account file, with invoices and bank statements as proof of payment.
In other words, a claim form will be requested per project.

o In attachment you will find a blank copy.
Be sure to provide all necessary information:
- Date
- Bank account number
- First name and surname
- Signature
Send this completed claim form by post to Design Flanders.
