"Design in Flanders 1980-1995. The 1st Triennial for Design in Flanders " offered, in 1995, an overview of the classical disciplines of the applied arts. This triennial showed the evolution which had taken place since 1980 and placed it into a recent historical context. The objective of the Triennial was to reintroduce the general public to the Flemish designers and their products.
